Miss Lois is one of the few private piano teachers in California who earned her teaching credential and has taught public school for 6 years, and private piano lessons for 27 years giving her vast experience with kids of all learning abilities in the public education system.

​In 1989, I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with high honors and from there moved with my young family to Wisconsin.  I earned teaching credentials in Music, Spanish, and English, and in 1993, my family returned to California.  I earned single subject teaching credentials in these same three fields and taught Junior High and High School for six years.

​

Since August of 1998, I have been teaching private piano lessons in South Orange County and really enjoy the one on one experience of teaching and learning students’ specific personalities while assisting with each specific challenge.  It is immensely rewarding to see the weekly growth of the students and the twice yearly performances of these young ones as they advance into maturity in music and life.



I am also a regular member of the choir at San Clemente Presbyterian Church and Sunday school pianist.  I have been a guest conductor at South Shores Church, and the director of the children's praise choir at San Clemente Presbyterian Church.
